Our cooking camps are a great introduction to cooking—learning how to cook for yourself is an important life skill that builds confidence and learning in a community of peers is fun! At the Co-op we want to excite student of all ages to feel confident in the kitchen by learning new kitchen skills, exploring new flavors, and creating healthy seasonal food for their friends, family and for themselves. Each session has age appropriate activities.
Sous-Chefs (ages 6 -9) – The theme this week is “Cooking the Rainbow”! Each day we will let color be our guide as we explore new flavors and techniques.
Students will prepare a snack to eat and maybe leftovers to take home. (A full meal will not be served.)
