From time to time customers will find products on sale in our stores that don’t appear in an ad or on our website, and invariably they wonder why. It’s a great question! The industry standard is to advertise these items anyway, at great deals, even though customers may come to the store and find the items are not available. It’s a practice that is misleading at best, and the bait-and-switch at worst. In short, it’s not the Co-op way

At the Co-op, we only promote those specials in our ads and on our website that we think you will be able to find when you come through our doors, no matter which store you shop in. But there are plenty of other specials too! Some are only available in certain stores and only for a limited time.
