Local & Regional Products List
**Updated 3/14/24**
With winter trying to hang on we’ve got just the ticket to keep you warm at night – mushrooms! Dunk’s locally grown mushrooms are available our three larger locations, and in addition to the fresh mushrooms we’re also now carrying his dried mushrooms. Stored in a cool, dark, dry place in an airtight container, dried mushrooms will keep for quite a long time and they’re a wonderful addition to many dishes.
Once rehydrated they can easily be added to soups and stews, egg dishes like omelets and quiches, and anywhere else you enjoy mushrooms. You can also keep your steeped liquid from rehydrating your mushrooms and use to help make the mushroom flavor more prominent in whatever dish you’re creating!

What Local Means to Us
Long before "local" was incorporated into the positioning statement of every giant discount megastore, it was a cornerstone to the work of food cooperatives.
Like the organic and green movements, the local movement had an early champion in food co-ops, who for decades have been touting the need to preserve networks of small family farms and independent food producers.
