Enjoy a Sip for Those Who Served

This week we're proud to feature Wild Bill's craft soda, brewed old-school with pure cane sugar and classic flavors. We love that the company is veteran-owned, with a Veteran Franchising Program and a commitment to supporting veteran non-profits. As we think about our veterans and their sacrifices this month, raise a can to those who served and enjoy the sweet taste of nostalgia.

“Wild

Wild Bill's Craft Beverage Co.
Root Beer

NEW! What makes Wild Bill's so different—besides being veteran owned and operated—is that these craft sodas are made in small batches, vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and caffeine-free, with pure, sweet, delicious cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. It's like stepping back in time to sodas as they used to be, rich and sweet and delicious.

If you've never tried a Wild Bill's flavor before, trust us, the root beer is the way to go, crafted with a balanced blend of vanilla, juniper, and licorice. Creamy and frothy, with a sweet finish and spicy undertones, offering a natural and mellow flavor. Great all by itself, though it loves to pair with bold, smoky, savory flavors like burgers, steaks, chops, and BBQ.

Co-op Kitchen
Asian Pork Meatloaf with Hoisin Glaze

We adore this unique twist on traditional homestyle meatloaf, baked with the irresistibly savory-sweet glaze of hoisin. If you've never tried it, hoisin is a cross between soy sauce and ketchup, and it makes a wonderful, tangy, flavorful glaze that gives life to any meatloaf blend, especially pork.

Recommended by Joanne Bouchard, Lebanon Store Food Service Manager.

WHAT JOANNE SAYS:
"It's a little spicy, moist and delicious"

“Co-op

Co-op Kitchen
Turkey Sriracha Meatballs

Juicy, meaty, flavorful turkey meatballs coated in the sweet, spicy, saucy flavors of sriracha. The great thing about sriracha (oh, let us count the ways) is that it adds a tangy kick to foods without being too hot or overpowering.

Recommended by April Harkness, ESG Manager at the Co-op Resource Center.

WHY APRIL LOVES THESE:
"These meatballs are the best. Made with turkey and loaded with sweet spices and a little heat from the sriracha sauce. It makes a perfect sweet and savory lunch or dinner item. My go-to in the Prepared Foods Department."

“Chateau

Chateau Barbebelle
Fleuri Caladc

A wonderful spring wine that loves to pair with light foods. A blend of grenache and malbec grapes that has round red fruit notes and pairs well with pasta, salad, and grilled meats. The winery sits in the heart of a protected wildlife region, between cypress trees, pines, and holm oaks.

The vines draw in all the rich environmental wealth of the region to produce grapes of distinctive flavor and highly versatile, high-quality wines.
